Second Week done

Many activities were accomplished this week:
*We read the Native American trickster tale the "Coyote and Buffalo"
*Groups summarized other Native American stories
*We began our SAT Vocabulary practice with the A & B words and wrote sentences for each word.
*We read "The General History of Virginia" by John Smith
*We shared our results from the two personality tests (Gregoric and Myers/Briggs)

Upcoming assignments:
1. Native American quiz (hint: listen to the Native American playlist)
2. Family Tree Project
3. SAT words continued
4. Summer Reading Projects (due September 30th)

Quick observations--
Make sure all work turned into me is done in blue or black pen only. Pencil or a different color ink will lose points.
If you are absent you need to bring an excused admit first before I can issue make-up work. You should ask your classmate or check the blog before asking me what you missed. This is part of learning how to be independent and responsible.
