The second nine weeks is over -- bring on the third nine weeks.
We will be off to a running start with the third nine weeks.
1.Final drafts for the John Stossel essay contest have been turned in and I will be grading them and submitting them to the contest in the next couple weeks.
2. We will be starting to read The Great Gatsby this next week so it is very important that you have access to the book. I will be checking for the book this coming week for a grade so download it to your phone, check it out from the library, purchase it new or used, just make sure you have it.
3. Make sure you finish and have your outline of pages 824-833 for next class so you can use it on the outline quiz. These pages also give you some good background information for our novel.
4. Make sure you finish the Grammar Worksheet Exercise #2. I will be collecting it for a grade on Tuesday/Wednesday.
