Extra Credit

If you are interested in doing Extra Credit for the second nine weeks please come and see me. It will be due after the winter break and will consist of you creating small posters of our SAT words.
See me before we go on the break to be issued a letter.

Holiday Song Project

So since everyone is getting in the holiday spirit and looking forward to the Winter Break I have created the following project:

1. You will select a holiday song. You can work by yourself or with a group of no more than four(4) people.
2. You will turn in the following information to me (typed) --
A. The history of the song (make sure to include who wrote it, when it was first recorded, who first sang it, how many times it has been remade)
B. What is the meaning of the song? Find the deeper meaning not just the literal meaning.
C. Any literary devices that the song uses. (similes, metaphors, symbolism, alliteration, onomatopeoia, etc.)
3. Your visual aid must include the lyrics of the song. You can create a video, skit, powerpoint, etc.)
4. You do not have to sing the song yourself. You can lipsync or just have pictures associated with your song.

Remember to have fun, but do a good job!

Due on Wednesday, 12/15 (2,4,6) and Thursday, 12/16 (1,3,5).
