Monday starts the second nine weeks, which means everyone starts with a clean slate. If you messed up the first nine weeks the second nine weeks is your opportunity to improve your grade. If you did well then continue to do well.
As I mentioned in class, the second nine weeks grade will depend a lot on your research paper. Your first assignment will start next week when you must bring in a copy of at least one of your sources. You will read it in class and highlight parts that you might include in your actual research paper.
Have your copy ready by Wednesday, October 29th!
Remember that your research topic may change as you start doing your actual research.
