Warnings and Reminders

Dear students:

If you are absent, it is your responsibility to get your absence excused in the main office.  Remember if you have more than 10 unexcused absences during the school year your credits will be held and you will not be able to graduate on time.
I also want you to understand that if your absence is not excused I do not have to accept your make-up work.

When you do get your absence excused you have a week to turn in your make-up work.  If it takes you longer than a week I will deduct points from the assignment.

If you are present in class and I have collected an assignment, unless you have spoken to me, you are not allowed to turn in the assignment later on.  You made the choice not to turn it in on time and therefore will receive a zero.

Many of you did not pay attention when I warned you about not turning in SAT/ACT questions and not completing Reading Plus sessions for the week.  As a result, you are accumulating zeros and your grade is suffering as a result.  Do not assume you will be allowed to make-up everything at the end of the nine weeks.

Reminders:
*SAT registration deadline is October 9th.
*The end of the nine weeks is October 23rd so you have three weeks left to improve your grade or maintain your grade.
*Remember Research Paper topics are due to your Social Studies teachers this week.
